Arts with Lorry LLC was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic with a mission to reconnect communities through arts, culture, and creative expression. The organization creates platforms that uplift artists of African descent by providing opportunities to showcase their talents in music, dance, theater, literature, and fashion. Through programs such as Music Scene & Fun, artists, actors, and dancers are given a stage to perform and share their work with the community. Arts with Lorry also produces Authors Night, a literary platform where writers present their books, discuss their creative journeys, and connect with audiences through readings and book signings. In addition, our New York Fashion Week showcases provide emerging designers with opportunities to present their collections. Arts with Lorry has collaborated with community partners including Pelham Fritz Recreation Center in Harlem, where for three years we provided African dance classes and hosted cultural events such as our Second Annual Authors Night to serve and inspire the local community. Through partnerships with creative professionals such as Mr. Peterson, CEO of A-Train Production, and Notiva Magazine, Arts with Lorry continues to expand opportunities for artists while strengthening cultural connection and community engagement through the arts.

Authors Night

Authors Night is a special event where writers and storytellers come together to present their books, share their journeys, and connect with readers. Authors have the opportunity to showcase their work, speak about their creative process, and sell their books to the audience.

This event celebrates literature, storytelling, and the power of words to inspire and connect communities.

Author Registration: $150

New York Fashion Week Showcase

Arts with Lorry presents a creative New York Fashion Week Showcase where designers, models, and artists come together to celebrate fashion, culture, and artistic expression.

Designers have the opportunity to present their collections on the runway, connect with audiences, and gain exposure in a dynamic creative environment.

Designer Registration Fee: $150

Music Scene & Fun

Music Scene & Fun is a creative platform designed to support musicians, performers, and artists who want to share their talents with the community. This event brings together music, performance, and artistic expression in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

Artists can perform, present their work, and connect with new audiences.

Artist Registration Fee: $75

Recitals

Our Arts with Lorry Recitals celebrate the creativity and achievements of our students and participants. These performances showcase dance, theater, storytelling, and artistic projects developed throughout the program.

Recitals provide students with the opportunity to share their work on stage, build confidence, and celebrate their artistic growth with family and the community.
