Arts with Lorry is a creative arts company founded in 2019 by Haitian born, New York based artist/entrepreneur /and Author Lorry Francois. AWL’s main objective is to inspire young and old to explore their creative sides through painting. A painter herself, Francois discovered the healing abilities of the creative arts at an early age. Whether it was acting, dancing, singing or any other creative discipline; Francois always found immense joy engaging in the arts. “All you need is an open mind and the rest will follow,” the entrepreneur firmly believes.
With modern day life remaining as busy as ever due to the many responsibilities we all carry, painting, especially, could serve as a profound way to relax and enjoy being present in the moment while having fun with friends and family, creating beautiful memories. AWL offers tailor-made party options for painting fun; from (kids) birthday parties to corporate events and holiday parties, which includes painting supplies and step-by-step instructions. Another major aspect of Arts with Lorry is philanthropy. Together with her younger sibling Jessica Francois founded The Julie Magny Foundation in Haiti/ DR, a non- profit organization. whose main objective is to defend the rights of adolescents pregnant teens and orphans create a better life.
Here’s where purpose comes in–an opportunity to paint for a cause. AWL offers the option to donate 50% of event fees to a chosen charity of choice, or support the entrepreneur in her quest for social change, through painting.
